I'm a geek. I like geeky things, I wear geeky clothes, I generally conduct myself in a way which announces my lack of normal interests to the world.I like video games, but the only series which I have an encyclopedic knowledge of is Final Fantasy (which is a bit embarrassing these days.) As a geek, this is unacceptable. I've always really liked Zelda, but have only really played the console ones from OoT onwards, so my eventual goal is to play through all of it. All of it.
"Why not a newer series?" you ask. Well, for starters, I'm so out of date with games that I consider anything that came out on the Gamecube to be pretty recent, but mostly it's because I'm a nostalgic kind of gamer and I like the ones that I grew up with best. Maybe I'll move on to something newer in the future.
I'll be updating my blog with my reviews of each game and at the end of the process I'll give the series an overall review. Enjoy!
Actually, Link to the Past is simply one of the best games ever made, period. And it came out for the SNES. O_o
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I actually celebrated when we beat it. XD ()you have to remember, back then, there were no strategy guides, GameFAQA, etc, so if you couldn't figure something out you were often stuck there until you damn well did. ^^;
